SwimMark

ESS is proud to have achieved SwimMark accreditation (formerly Swim21) every year since its inception in 2012.  SwimMark is Swim England’s quality standard for clubs.  It recognises high standards of governance, sustainability and effectiveness.

 

What is SwimMark about?

  • Creating the best possible swimming experience for all
  • Raising the quality of aquatics provision across all areas
  • National Sport England Clubmark recognition for great quality clubs

Wavepower

 

We have adopted Swim England 'Wavepower' promoting your right to good Welfare Practice in the club. To download the latest version of the full policy, please head to the Swim England website.

 

From time to time we will take photographs/video for the website and local press, following the 'Wavepower' guidelines. Please contact us if you DO NOT give permission for your child's photograph to be taken.

 

If you are concerned about yourself or someone else in the club please contact our Welfare Officer or call the ASA Swimline on 0808 1004001. Alternatively, you can also call Childline (0800 1111) or the NSPCC Child Protection Helpline (0808 800 5000).
